«PODMOSKOVYE-2007»

Company «MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL» took part in the exhibition «PODMOSKOVYE-2007», which took place in the exhibition complex «Krokus Expo» from 26 to September 29, 2007.

At the direction of the governor of the Moscow Region Boris Gromov government of the Moscow Region held the exhibition for the fourth time. Inter-industrial exhibition of achievements of Podmoskovye is called to demonstrate advanced goods, services, technologies and prospective investments.

Company «MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL» appeared on the collective stand arranged by the Administration of Serpukhovsky District and demonstrated the whole range of products under trade marks Rollton, BIGBON, Rolben. Visitors of the exhibition showed great interest in products «MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL», daily tastings were carried out on the stand.

Russia: The experts are forecasting a growth of prices for the oil

The experts notify us beforehand that already from this autumn in the shops the oil can considerably rise in price. Before all it is connected with an extremely sharp growth of the prices for the raw materials, that is for the sunflower. The explanation is that the expenses for producing one ton of sunflower of new harvest are equal to 12 thousand of rubles  it is twice more than the last year index.

Respectively, the prices in the shops will increase also for the oil in bottles.

Russia: The demand for the liquid soups is growing

According to the dates presented by the company ACNielsen, in 2006 the sale of the soluble soups diminished by 25%. In the same time there is growing the demand on liquid soups. In 2006 this segment of market increased by one third, up to 600 mln. rubles. It is expected that in the current year the growth of the market will become slower.

There enjoy the popularity the trade marks «Rollton» (DNV-S), «Gurmania» (the company Mars), Knorr (Unilever), Maggi (Nestle), Gallina Blanca.

Russia: There has been elaborated a new standard on macaroni foods

There has been elaborated a new standard on macaroni foods. The title of the document which now is passing the phase of public discussion is: «Macaroni foods. Methods of identification». This standard has been elaborated to simplify the control of trustworthy character of the information given by the manufacturers on the labels of their products. The document describes the methods of revealing admixtures in the macaroni foods, of determining the ash content, the content of soy-bean and corn flour.

«Tea Gardens» in Moscow

The first interregional exhibition-fair «Tea Gardens» in the country «Vorontsovo» took place from August, 30 up to September,2 of 2007 in Moscow.

This event was organized by the Center of Business Development of the administrative district South-West of Moscow with help of the Department of assistance and development of the small enterprises and the prefecture of the administrative district South-West.

Within the bound of the exhibition took place the presentations of the goods and services of the companies working in the sectors bound with the tea (there were presented teas, confectionery and bakery, honey, thematic tourist?s travels), there worked the «Master?s town» dedicated to handicrafts and the children?s entertaining campus, there were performances of creative collectives.

Russia: The food additive E 128 is prohibited

The sanitary doctor-chef of the Russian Federation Mister  G. ONISHCHENKO in his order prohibited the use of the food additive E128/.

In the European Union from the July of this year is officially prohibited the use of the food additive E128 Red 2G.

In this Union it was recognized that the mono-azo colorant Red 2G is metabolized in aniline which is a genotoxic compound In Russia this colorant is used in the food industry when producing the sausages and the products of finely cut meat and it is strictly normalized. The norms of using the food additive, accepted in Russian Federation, correspond to the norms accepted in the European Union.

Rollton is the trademark of confidence

The ÒÌ Rollton is recognized to be the trademark of confidence of 2007 within the category of fast cooking products upon the results of the annual International Research of trademarks enjoying the highest degree of confidence among the consumers.

The research is conducted by the magazine Readers Digest and is the most large-scale one in Europe. ‚Trademark of confidence was conducted for the seventh year in Russia.

The main goal of the research is to single out those companies in whom the Europeans are inclined to confide most of all and to assess them with relation to quality, cost and understanding the consumer needs. The research embraced 15 European countries where the magazine Readers Digest is issued: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Pollen, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Finland, France, Czechia, Switzerland.

In all 25 434 people were questioned. Respondents were chosen from the customer base of the Readers Digest in each of the 15 countries. Respondents were offered to name a trademark, i.e. a winner in 30 categories, 20 of which are international and 10 are the national ones. The results were calculated and analyzed by an independent agent in England.The ÒÌ Rollton was repeatedly recognized to be the trademark of confidence, which means that the main goal, i.e. customer confidence, has been reached.

«PRODEXPO UKRAINE 2007»

«Rollton» Trading House took part in «PRODEXPO UKRAINE 2007» International Exhibition. The Exhibition took place in Kiev since February 27 until March 2, 2007 and became an important event in the Ukrainian food market.

Exhibitors' pavilions occupied 2500 sq. m. area. 150 companies of different countries: Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Italy, Germany, Turkey, etc. took part in the work of «PRODEXPO UKRAINE 2007». Over 13000 specialists visited the Exhibition.

Practically the whole range of manufactured products was presented at the booth of «Rollton» TH. Daily products tasting was carried out at the booth, and consumers' preferences analysis thereof will be conducted.

Meetings of «Rollton» TH experts with business partners and prospective customers took place during the Exhibition. The interest of specialists to «Rollton» TH products is traditionally high: over 1000 specialists in the Ukrainian market visited the exposition, over 200 offers for cooperation were made.

«Rollton» Trading House was awarded with a Diploma for the best booth at the Exhibition upon the results of the work of «PRODEXPO UKRAINE 2007».

14th International Fair-Exhibition of foodstuffs, drinks and raw materials for their production — PRODEXPO — 2007 took place at ExpoCenter in Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow within the period from February 12 to February 16, 2007.

The Annual International Festival-Competition «CHOICE OF THE YEAR» in Belarus completed its work. Subsequent to the results of integrated assessment of «Choice of the Year 2006» competition based on all-Belarusian marketing research of consumer preferences and opinions of the Expert Council, Advertising Commission and High Jury, Rollton trade mark is the winner in the following nominations:

— «Fast preparation macaroni products No.1 in Belarus» of the year 2006.— «Fast preparation soup No.1 in Belarus» of the year 2006.

The marketing research was carried out by «MASMI BI».

The results of the Annual International Festival-Competition «Choice of the Year 2006» in Belarus were audited and confirmed by «SAB-PKF» auditing company.

Novinsky Passage in Moscow became on February 1, 2007 the place of the ceremony of rewarding the companies, the brands whereof were recognized the best in the Russian consumer and corporate markets in 2006.

Opening the awards presentation ceremony, Nina Alexeeva, President of the Russian Department of Superbrands International, thanked participants of the ceremony. She has pointed out that the independent Expert Council headed by RSPP President Alexander Shokhin carried out enormous work choosing true superbrands.

At the same time, two new books were presented to the business community. Stories of success of 172 leading brands in the country within three years of work of the Russian Department of Superbrands International were presented in the books. Rollton trade mark is among the leading brands.

Executives of the company, members of the independent Expert Council of the Russian Department, heads and representatives of over 60 domestic and foreign companies, representatives of over Russian and foreign mass media took part in the ceremony.

Tajikistan: «Interfood Tajikistan»

FG FOOD Group of companies and «Rollton» TH took part in the 1st International special-purpose exhibition «Interfood Tajikistan».

The exhibition took place in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, within the period from 23 to 25 November, 2006 and became an important event in business life of the country. «Interfood Tajikistan» is the first special-purpose exhibition of food products.

Owners of shops, markets, distributors, representatives of retail trading companies, as well as consumers from Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iran took part in the exhibition.

Experts and participants of «Interfood Tajikistan» took active interest in products under «Rollton», «BIGBON», «Rolben» trade marks, which are well-known in Tajikistan and are popular among consumers. Tremendous interest to the products was demonstrated also by specialized press and mass media of Tajikistan. Experts of «Rollton» TH told in details in their interview to journalists about products, production technologies and plans for development of product lines.

27.07. Brazil: Fispal Food Service’2006

The 22nd International exhibition-trade fair Fispal Food Service’2006 completed its work. The exhibition took place within the period from 17 to 20 July, 2006 in San-Paulu, Brazil. Rollton Trading House belonging to FG FOOD group of companies took part in the work of the exhibition and presented broad assortment of its products.

Fispal Food Service is the largest and the most significant specialized arrangement in Latin America. The work of the exhibition-trade fair was supported by Abia, Aberc, Abrasel, Abrava, Abre, Abrabe, Ital/Cetea, Sebrae/SP and Abredi associations.

Pavilions of participants of the exhibition occupied premises with the floor space exceeding 30 000 sq. m. Samples of last achievements in the field of production of food products, packaging and equipment were presented at their stands. Over 58 000 experts visited Fispal Food Service in this year. Organizers of the arrangement prepared comprehensive business program, including conferences, round-table discussions and master-classes.

Rollton Trading House has demonstrated at the exhibition broad assortment of its products manufactured under «Rollton» and «BIGBON» trade marks.

Over 50 distributors and importers from Brazil and South America visited the company’s stand, experts of Rollton Trading House negotiated with owners of retail networks and representatives of Latin American marketing agencies.

03.03. PRODEXPO-2006: Results of the work

The Trade house “Rollton”, entering into the companies group FG FOOD, participated in the International fair “PRODEXPO-2006”, which took place in Moscow, in Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnia street, from February 13 up to February 17, 2006.

By tradition the trade house “Rollton” is sponsor of the fair PRODEXPO. Neither this year has became the exception. Even more, the trade brand BIGBON, which is the property of Trade house “Rollton” and offered to the market many novelties, became the official sponsor of “PRODEXPO-2006”, as well as sponsor of the conference “Strategic challenges in the Russian trade of XXI century”.

09.02. PRODEXPO-2006

13th International Exhibition of Foodstuffs and Food Raw Materials PRODEXPO-2006 will take place in Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter in Moscow on February 13 to 17. The exhibition sponsor is trade mark BIGBON.

25.11. PRODEXPO-2005

Rollton took part in exhibition “PRODEXPO-2005”, which took place in Minsk from November 15 to 18, 2005.

Rollton is the ultimate leader among producers and suppliers of fast food in Byelorussia, which was again proven by the exhibition. The products enjoy great popularity and love both among consumers and distributors and retailers.

Rollton demonstrated on its stand all the range of manufactured products delivered to Byelorussia, including products new for Byelorussian market such as 9 types of rye dried crusts and 4 types of wheat dried crusts of original form and various tastes; 3 types of noodles of various tastes under trade mark of BIGBON, as well as instant coffee “3 in 1” under trade Rolben.

25.07. “Africa’s BIG Seven” International Forum in the Republic of South Africa

“Africa’s BIG Seven” is the unique annual international branch-wise forum in Africa. The world-famous companies representing interests of 720 million African consumers take part in its work. As a rule, “Africa’s BIG Seven” consists of 7 specialized exhibitions: Sales Exhibition of equipment, technologies, wholesale and retail trade services; Sales Exhibition of innovation solutions and products for retail trade; Sales Exhibition of food and drinks producers and sellers; Sales Exhibition of meat industry; Sales Exhibition of grocery products; Sales Exhibition of dairy industry; Sales Exhibition of software and information technologies.

Trade house “Rollton” represented at the exhibition the entire assortment of “Rollton” fast preparation products: different kinds of vermicelli, noodles, mashed potatoes, soups.

The ingredients of all soups are mainly natural raw materials — dried vegetables, pot-herbs and spices. 18.04. Adam Smith Institute International Forum

Trade house “Rollton” became a sponsor of the Fourth Annual Adam Smith Institute International Forum held in Moscow at the “Mariott Grand Hotel” from April 4 to April 7, 2005.

The Forum subject “Russian market of retail trade” attracted attention of several hundred of representatives of the largest Russian and world companies engaged in that sector. The conference program included speeches of leading experts, examples from practice, interactive discussions and provided possibilities for new contacts.

The novelty in this year was the Focus, the day devoted to logistics and management of deliveries chain, including the research of the Russian logistics market carried out jointly with the Exel company. The day of CIS countries devoted to development of the retail trade market in Baltic and Community countries, aroused comparable interest of participants of the Forum.
