Business Development of the Company

In 1998 the first plant opened in Serpukhov and it launched the instant vermicelli production. It was the DHV-S and Trade House Rollton enterprises that started the history of development of the MAREVEN FOOD group of Companies in Russia.

In 2001 the second plant was built and opened in Serpukhov, in which the production of broths, seasonings and popular among consumers mashed potato was launched. In 2004 at the same place they started the production of snacks.
Over the years of active development in the city of Serpukhov in Moscow region the plants of DHV-S have formed a well-developed infrastructure of food production.

Today the DHV-S plants possess the most up-to-date production lines, more then 3 thousand qualified specialists work there and more than a billion of production packs are produced per year.

In 2006 the united management Company MAREVEN FOOD, with the principal enterprise in Russia -MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL, was established within the frameworks of consolidation of the international business of the group of companies specializing in production and selling of food products (the DHV-S and Trade House Rollton). This decision was made to increase the business efficiency through uniting all the enterprises in Russia, CIS, Eastern Europe and other countries.

In September 2007 the Ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the biggest food plant - MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL – took place. This event indicates the stable business development of the Company, which is, as of today, a large multinational, multiproduct and multibrand company.

The investments for the building of the new plant amount to $ 270 million.

The total area of the MAREVEN FOOD CENTRAL plant equals 25 hectares, and it is located near the DHV-S operating industrial complex. It is planned to raise here 3 processing departments for production of goods, a modern warehouse complex and administrative buildings on the area of 140 000 m2. This will allow to extend significantly the range of products, to increase additionally client services standards and to create new working places for the residents of Serpukhov located near Moscow and its bordering areas. The consumer will be able to judge the merits of the new products already in 2009.
